IISc Bangalore offers 4 year (not 3 years) Bachelor of Science (Research) programs in the following fields:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Earth and Environmental Science
- Materials
- Mathematics
- Physics
It also provides B.Tech. (Mathematics and Computing) in their UG program.
Eligibility criteria for IISc Bangalore
- If you completed your 12th (or equivalent) board exam in the last year or are going to complete it this year, then you can apply.
- You must have completed 12th grade (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as your main subjects.
- If you belong to the general category, you should secure 60% marks (not required for SC / ST candidates) on your 12th boards.
Students who don’t take mathematics in their qualifying examination are not eligible to get admission to IISc Bangalore.
