About the author
From the Bihar College of Engineering in Patna (now known as NIT, Patna),
Neeraj Kumar is a civil engineer. Since 1992, he has been instructing
candidates for IIT-JEE. He founded Neeru's Chemistry Arena in Patna's
Musallahpur Hat. Since 2002, he has worked with a number of other coaching
organizations. He is currently employed by a reputable institution as the Head
of the Department of Physical and Inorganic Chemistry. The author is adamant
that theoretical knowledge is necessary for success in any competitive exam,
even though the present IIT-JEE trends favor an analytical and theoretical
approach. Neeraj Kumar is a prolific author of books for school curricula and
the IIT-JEE. In addition, he has co-authored a few books and written articles
for reputable educational publications as Junior Science Refresher and
Chemistry Patron.
